Installation Instructions
Step 1 - Remove the Splash Guard
If your vehicle is equipped with a bumper step, drop it first. Use a 10mm socket to remove two screws holding the license plate and a trim removal tool to remove one push pin behind the plate. Underneath the vehicle, unplug the trailer harness and remove the trailer connector by squeezing the tabs.
Next, use a trim removal tool to remove four push pins and a 10mm socket to remove two support screws. Slowly pull the lower valance away, working the hanger tabs free.
Step 2 - Remove the Bumper Cover
Release three retainer clips holding the bumper cover to the bumper structure using a right angle pick tool. Repeat on the other side. Then, release eight retainer clips securing the bumper top caps using a right angle pick tool and trim removal tool. Start at the top and apply upward leverage to release the clips, repeating for the other side.
Finally, remove seven push pins securing the bumper covers and pull the covers away from the outer edge. Be mindful of the groove on the inner side that clasps the center cover.
Step 3 - Remove the Factory Reverse Lights
Unplug the factory reverse light harness and release the white retainer clips holding the harness in place. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws holding the reverse light and set the lamp aside. Repeat for the other side.
Step 4 - Install the Form Lighting LED Reverse Lights
Install the new Form Lighting LED reverse light using the original hardware. Ensure the alignment pins line up with the alignment socket. Avoid overtightening. Repeat for the other side.
Plug in the lamps and test for function. If everything is functioning properly, reverse the steps used to take everything apart to reassemble the vehicle.
