Form Lighting's LED Projector Headlights are the perfect upgrade for the 2009-2018 Ram 1500/2500/3500. These OEM-grade LED headlights provide more functionality by adding bi-LED projectors, sequential turn signals, daytime running lights, and a start-up sequence to the Ram. Mounting Instructions
Step 1 - Remove Radiator Cover Clips
Pop the hood of the vehicle and use the plastic trim removal tool to remove the four (4) plastic clips (circled in red) that hold on the radiator cover.
Then, remove the radiator cover by lifting it up and away from the vehicle.
Step 2 - Remove Grille Bolts
Using a 10mm socket, remove the four (4) bolts along the top of the grille.
Step 3 - Remove Grille
Remove the grille by pulling it away from the vehicle.
Step 4 - Headlight Release Tab
On the driver's side wheel well, locate the headlight access panel and lift it open.
Inside this panel is a white tab holding the headlight in place. Push up on this tab to release the headlight. Repeat this process for the passenger's side.
Step 5 - Remove Headlight Bolts
Remove two (2) 10mm bolts near the top and bottom of the lamps.
Step 6 - Remove Stock Headlight
Remove the stock headlights by pulling it away from the vehicle, and disconnecting the factory harness from the back of the lamp.
Repeat the same steps to remove the opposite side headlight.
Step 7 - Installing DRL Harness
If your truck did not come with DRLs from the factory, your next step will be to install and route our included DRL harness.
Start by opening your fuse box and locate the f93 fuse. Remove it using a pair of needle nose pliers or a fuse puller.
Step 8 - Adding the DRL Fuse
Take the fuse we removed and add it to the bottommost slot of our add-a-fuse harness.
Before plugging the adapter back into the f93 fuse slot, be sure to route the red amp connector wire leads back to where each headlight will sit - keeping away from any hot or moving parts and zip-tying any excess wiring.
Step 9 - Installing Lamp Adapters
Next, install the included adapters onto the back of the lamps as needed so they plug into your factory harness.
Step 10 - Installing Your New Headlights
Starting with your driver's side you will grab your lamp, and plug in the factory connections and the DRL harness we routed earlier.
Gently slide the lamp in place until the mounting post on the back of the lamp snaps into place.
Then, pull down on the white clip we noted earlier.
Step 11 - Bolting up Your New Headlight
Reinstall the two (2) 10mm bolts removed earlier located at the top and bottom of the lamp.
Repeat the same steps for the other side.
Step 12 - Test For Functionality
With everything installed, it’s time to test for functionality.
Step 13 - Reassembly
Reassemble your Ram by reversing the steps used to take it apart. Zip-tie any loose wiring away from hot or moving parts.
Step 14 - Make Aiming Adjustments
Use an 8mm socket to make your aiming adjustments.
To aim the lights up or down, you will either tighten or loosen the adjustment screw located at the top of your new Form Sequential LED headlights.
