Installation Instructions
Step 1 - Remove The Grille
To start, pop the hood and remove two (2) plastic clips, one from either side of the grille.
Use a 10mm ratchet to remove four (4) bolts across the top of the grille.
Now lift the grille up and away from the vehicle.
Step 2 - Removing Trim From Lamp
Remove the two (2) plastic clips on the front of the trim panel.
Next, remove two (2) 10mm bolts inside the fender.
Lift up and away from the vehicle to remove the trim panel.
Step 3 - Remove Factory Lamp
Remove three (3) 10mm bolts holding on the lamp. There will be two (2) on top and one (1) on the side.
Next, disconnect all the factory wiring harnesses, and remove the lamp.
Step 4 - Installing Adapter Harnesses
Install the included headlight adapter harness. Plug the grey end into the corresponding connector coming from the back of the headlamp.
Plug the H4 adapter into the headlight harness coming from the vehicle.
The remaining connector on our adapter will only be used if your truck comes equipped with factory LED headlights.
Our reflector option includes an additional module (shown below). This will plug into the corresponding gray connector coming from the back of your headlamp, and then plug into the vehicle.
Note: If you have purchased our projector headlight option, this harness will not be included.
Step 5 - Mounting Your New Headlight
Connect all your wiring harnesses, and install our FORM Headlamp using the factory hardware. Repeat these steps to install your passenger-side headlight.
Step 6 - Routing Your DRL Harness
Note: You can skip this step if your truck came equipped with factory DRLs, or you only want the C-light to activate with your main beam.
Disconnect the brown wire from the back of both headlights and plug in our add-a-fuse harness
Remove the cover on your fuse box and use a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the highlighted 10 amp ignition fuse.
Now install your add-a-fuse harness in place of the 10 amp fuse.
Step 7: Test for Functionality
Test the headlight function thoroughly.
Once you have verified that your lights are functioning properly, reinstall your grille and trim pieces by reversing the steps we used to take everything apart.
The installation is now complete. Enjoy your new LED headlights for the 2014-2021 Toyota Tundra!
