Installation Instructions
Step 1 - Lower Tailgate
Begin the installation by lowering the tailgate to gain access to the factory tail lights.
Step 2 - Remove Bolts
Beginning on the passenger side, use the 10mm socket to remove the two 10mm bolts (circled in red below) holding the factory tail light to the vehicle. There is one bolt located near the bottom and one located near the top of the tail light.
Step 3 - Remove Factory Tail Light
There are two retaining clips still holding the tail light to the vehicle. To remove it, grab the top and bottom of the factory tail light and firmly pull it away from the vehicle. Be mindful that the connectors are still plugged into the factory wiring harness.
Step 4 - Disconnect Connectors
Once the tail light is removed, disconnect the three connectors of the factory wiring harness (circled in red below) from the back of the tail lights.
Step 5 - Connect Form Tail Light
Plug the three (3) factory wiring harness connectors that were disconnected in Step 4 into the corresponding connectors on the back of the Form Tail Light.
Step 6 - Push the Form Tail Light in Place
Push the Form Tail Light into position on the vehicle until you feel the retaining clips secure it in place.
Step 7 - Test Functionality
With the Form Tail light connected and in place, test the functionality of the tail light.
Step 8 - Install Bolts
Once you've verified that everything is working properly, replace the two 10mm bolts that were removed in Step 2 to secure the Form Tail Light to the vehicle.
Step 9 - Install Driver's Side Form Tail Light
Repeat Steps 1-8 to install the remaining Form Tail Light on the Driver's Side of the vehicle.
