Installation Instructions
Step 1 - Remove Factory Tail Light
Open the tailgate and use a 10mm socket to remove the two bolts securing the factory tail light. Gently pull the tail light assembly away from the truck to release it.
Step 2 - Disconnect OEM Wiring
Using needle-nose pliers, release the three plastic retaining clips holding the factory harness in place. If equipped with a luggage switch, disconnect it now. Then unplug the main tail light connector and set the OEM light aside.
Step 3 - Transfer Components
If your truck has a luggage switch, use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the switch. Gently remove the switch panel and transfer it to your new Form Lighting lamp.
Step 4 - Prepare New Lamp
Remove the white retaining clip from the OEM lamp using a trim tool and transfer it to the new Form Lighting tail light. Route the included reverse light harness through the tail light opening.
Step 5 - Connect Reverse Light Harness
Underneath the bumper, disconnect the OEM reverse light connector. Plug the Form Lighting reverse light adapter inline and ensure the red locking tabs click into place.
Step 6 - Complete Electrical Connections
Connect the amp connector from the Form Lighting tail light harness to the reverse light harness. Then connect the tail light harness to the vehicle and press the white retaining clips back into place. If equipped with the luggage switch, reconnect it along with the main tail light connector.
Step 7 - Install Tail Light
Align the new lamp on the truck and reinstall the two 10mm bolts. Repeat the same steps on the other side of the vehicle.
Step 8 - Test Function
Test all lighting functions to confirm everything is working correctly. That’s it!
The installation is now complete. Enjoy your new 2022-2025 Toyota Tundra LED Tail Lights!
